Step 1: Initialize Sylenth1

The first step is to initialize Sylenth1 to its default settings. To do this, click on the Menu button at the top right corner of the plugin and select Init Preset. This will reset all the parameters to their default values.

Step 2: Set Up Oscillators

The next step is to set up the oscillators that will generate the main sound. We will use two oscillators in Part A and two oscillators in Part B. Each oscillator will have a different waveform, pitch and volume.

In Part A, set Oscillator A1 to Saw wave, Octave to 0, Note to 0, Detune to 0.00, Phase to 0.00, Volume to 10.00 and Stereo to 10.00. Set Oscillator A2 to Pulse wave, Octave to -1, Note to 0, Detune to 0.00, Phase to 0.00, Volume to 10.00 and Stereo to 10.00.

In Part B, set Oscillator B1 to Saw wave, Octave to -1, Note to 0, Detune to 0.00, Phase to 0.00, Volume to 10.00 and Stereo to 10.00. Set Oscillator B2 to Saw wave, Octave to -2, Note to 0, Detune to 0.00, Phase to 0.00, Volume to 10.00 and Stereo to 10.00.

Step 3: Apply Filters

The next step is to apply filters that will shape the sound and remove unwanted frequencies. We will use two filters in Part A and one filter in Part B. Each filter will have a different type, cutoff and resonance.

In Part A, set Filter A1 Type to Bandpass (BP), Cutoff A1 to 50 Hz, Resonance A1 to 5.00 and Drive A1 to 4.50. Set Filter A2 Type to Lowpass (LP), Cutoff A2 to 500 Hz, Resonance A2 to 5.00 and Drive A2 to 4.50.

In Part B, set Filter B Type to Highpass (HP), Cutoff B

to 100 Hz, Resonance B

to 5.00 and Drive B

to 4.50.

Step 4: Add Modulation

The next step is to add modulation that will add movement and variation to the sound. We will use two envelopes and two LFOs in Part A and one envelope and one LFO in Part B. Each envelope and LFO will have different settings and destinations.

In Part A, set Envelope A1 Attack

to 0 ms,

Decay

to 500 ms,

Sustain

to 5%,

Release

to 100 ms,

and Amount

to -3 dB.

Set Envelope A1 Destination

to Cutoff A1.

Set Envelope A2 Attack

to 0 ms,

Decay

to 500 ms,

Sustain

to 5%,

Release

to 100 ms,

and Amount

to -3 dB.

Set Envelope A2 Destination

to Cutoff A2.

Set LFO A1 Waveform

to Triangle, 0efd9a6b88
